Bank Street Approach
Our learning program is based on the Bank Street Approach. We do not subscribe to a systematic "curriculum." Instead, we use a learning method that changes as the child experiences learning successes. Our teaching method adapts with the child's specific needs. This approach operates with a basic set of principles and develops a changing curriculum from there.
The basic principles are based on the belief that every human being learns by progressing from simple to complex, and from single to multiple. Each child has a range of possibilities, and development cannot be fixed in a specific plane, or a straight line of growth. A child's natural curiosity about themselves and the world around them is what motivates them to learn.
